Telkom Cloud Aims For 1.000 New Customers

TEMPO Interactive, Bandung:State-run telecommunication company, PT Telkom Indonesia, through its business unit, Enterprise, is optimistic that its new product, Telkom Cloud, can win the market of information technology data service. “We are targeting corporate businessmen and small to medium-scale businesses,” Aziz Sidqi, General Manager of PT Telkom’s Enterprise Regional 3 Unit in West Java and Banten, said in Bandung yesterday.
So far, Telkom Cloud has collaborated with 600 companies to try PT Telkom Indonesia’s new service, which is based on infrastructure service and corporate application. "In general, we projected 1.000 new customers during the trial and error period," said Natal Iman Ginting, PT Telkom Indonesia’s Business Solution AVP.
PT Telkom will use its regular investments for the business unit. Telkom has set a fee of Rp 500.000 for the virtual private server service and Rp 20.000 for Telkom Collaboration service per user. "For this service, Telkom is collaborating with Microsoft for the software and hardware development,” Iman said.
