Head of German Red Cross Shot and Evacuated to Singapore

TEMPO Interactive, Banda Aceh: Head of the German Red Cross delegation, Erhard Bauer, was shot three times in Aceh Besar.
He was evacuated to Singapore for further medical treatment today (6/11) at around 1am.
He was treated at Public Hospital Dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUZA) in Banda Aceh before being flown to Singapore from Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport.
His evacuation involved medical services provider SOS and the police.
Spokesperson for the Germany Red Cros, Svenja Koch, as quoted from the Associated Press, said that Erhard Bauer, was evacuated to Singapore for intensive care.
Bauer was shot in the Jalan Sukarno-Hatta area of Aceh Besar by two unknown people who used short barrel weapons and rode a motorbike. They ran away right after shooting Bauer.
