Boediono Promises to Pay Attention to South Sulawesi When Elected

TEMPO Interactive, Makassar: The presidential candidates of SBY-Boediono held a campaign at Jusuf Kalla’s homeland, Makassar, Wednesday (1/7).

It was located at Andi Mattalatta Stadium in Mattoanging, Makassar.

In his speech, Boediono promised to pay attention to South Sulawesi when elected. “I shall propose to SBY to make South Sulawesi a center of development in the region,” said Boediono to his supporters.

He explained that South Sulawesi was a strategic area from an economy perspective as it keeps growing and developing.
In his speech, Boediono mentioned a local phrase: one word one action. He explained that his work later when elected will be based on this phrase.

Boediono said he believes that he and SBY will have no difficulties working together as they have known each other for a long time so they can achieve goals faster.
