Female Candidates for Legislative Election Demonstrate in Bali

TEMPO Interactive, Denpasar: Hundreds of female candidates for the legislative election demonstrated last Sunday (8/3) in Bali.

They celebrated World Women's Day by distributing leaflets, shirts, and a banner saying “No Woman, No Change”.

The demonstration took place at the Badjra Sandhi monument, Renon.

Coordinator of female candidates for legislative elections in Bali, Putu Suprapti, said in her speech that through female representatives, changes at legislative institutions will come true.

“Corruption and violent politics can be changed with females’ nature of honesty and tenderness,” she said.
