Wednesday, 12 November, 2008 | 14:08 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari has said that the government plans to revitalize hospitals owned by the Indonesian Military (TNI).

“Especially hospitals located at border areas,” she said after leading a coordinating meeting at the Defense Department yesterday (11/11).

Siti Fadilah explained that the revitalization would include equipment assistance and education for specialist doctors.

“We will complete the facilities,” she said.

The hospitals can be used by members of the general public as well.

Siti went on to say that TNI hospitals have a sufficient number of doctors and medical workers.
