Three Candidates for New BP Migas Head

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has decided on three candidates for the head of the Oil and Gas Upstream Body (BP Migas). The House member from Commission VII for Mining Affairs, Ade Daud Nasution said that the candidates will proceed to take a fit and proper test on Monday (7/4).

Based on the President's letter No. R-12/Pres/2/2008 addressed to the House of Representatives (DPR) , the three candidates that will replace Kardaya Wamika are Evita Herawti Legowo (minister's expert staff for Human Resources and Technology ); Hadi Purnomo (Head of Oil and Gas Research and Technology Development); and R. Priyono (Director for Oil and Gas Upstream Development).

Ade said, the voting will be done to select the candidates. “It will be two days after the proper test,” said Ade Daud today.
