Aceh Conflict Victims to Receive Funds

TEMPO Interactive, Lhokseumawe: The Aceh Reintegration Agency (BRA) in North Aceh will provide aid to conflict victims who have suffered physical defects.

Aid will also be given to those whose houses were set by fire or ruined due to war.

The realization of this aid will start on February 16.

According to Nurdin Yasin, BRA’s Social and Cultural Head, the amount of aid is Rp10 million per person, transferred via each person’s bank account.

“On February 16, the aid will definitely be distributed. The money is already available,” said Nurdin, on Monday (12/2).
