Police Prioritize Arrest of Noor Din M. Top

TEMPO Interactive, Solo: The Surakarta Police Department is prioritizing the arrest of fugitive Noor Din M. Top and his network in the area during 2007.

Surakarta is considered to be a transit place and hideout for this group.

“The hunt for Noor Din M. Top and his network has become the main focus. Afterwards, we will focus on matters related to narcotics, banking crimes, corruption, and other crimes,” said Head of Surakarta Police Department Chief Commissioner Yontje Mende yesterday (01/02).

Yontje acknowledged that he had prepared a special team to uncover the whereabouts of the network.

The police have publicized a new picture of Noor Din, who is being considered as the terrorists' leader.

The picture shows Noor Din's full image of face and body.
Police will distribute the picture through rural areas by using a helicopter.
