Kalla Meets UN Special Reporter on Human Rights

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Vice President Jusuf Kalla this morning met UN Special Reporter on Human Rights Vivit Muntarbhorn. The meeting was at 9.30am at the Vice President's office to discuss about the Human Rights' protection in eradicating terrorism and the Draft Bill on Intelligence.
Muntarbhorn was accompanied with a member of the International Committee of Jurist Isabella Hayer and Supreme Court Judge Raul Zaffaroni. Todung Mulya Lubis and Rachlan Nashidik of Imparsial also attended the meeting.
Earlier, the UN had once sent a special reporter on extra-judicial executions, Philips Alston, to review the investigation of the Munir case. Muntarbhorn himself is a professor at Chulalongkorn University of Thailand that previously drew up a report on the Human Rights condition in North Korea.
