Buana Finance to Issue Bonds

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: PT Buana Finance Tbk will issue bonds in the first quarter of 2007, with a value of between Rp250 billion and Rp300 billion in order to develop businesses in Eastern Indonesia.

Eko Santoso Budianto, the Managing Director of Buana Finance, said that market development will be centralized in Banjarmasin, Manado and Papua.

“Especially to rent heavy equipment,” he said in Jakarta last week.

During the next three years, he said, the company will try to obtain a US$25 million loan from foreign creditor institutions as working capital.

Chinatrust Commercial Bank, Hong Kong, has been appointed as the executor and the guarantor of the loan.

“The confirmation of this loan is due in July this year,” he said.
