Aceh Working Committee Meetings Closed to Public

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Special Committee for the Aceh Government Bill has decided the working committee's meetings will be closed to the public.

“But interested parties may be invited,” said the Chairman of the Special Committee for the Aceh Government Bill, Ferry Mursyidan Baldan, in Jakarta yesterday.

The decision of the closure of the meetings, according to Ferry, is not only because the Board's regulations compels it to, “but also because the working committee's meetings are already at the stage of decision-making,” he said.

According to Ferry, the working committee led by R.K. Sembiring Meliala will start to operate on Monday.
