Monday, 17 April, 2006 | 17:03 WIB
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Institute of Development Research and Improvement will report suspicion of an education certificate forgery of the elected Papuan Governor, Barnabas Suebu.
Suebu is accused of asking for a notification letter stating that he had lost his certificate on some trip.
The local police then issued a letter number LKB/332/VII/2005.
With the police letter, Suebu created the certificate's replacement as one of the requirements to be the governor, candidate period 2006-2011.
“With sophisticated technology, it is possible to formulate certificate number 422/42/2005,” said Arsi Divinubun, the legal advisor of this NGO.
Suebu disputed the accusation. “I can't accept this behavior; it's a defamation,” he said.
He will sue those who had tarnished his reputation.
