Three Death Penalty Cases Propose Clemency Again
Friday, 07 April, 2006 | 15:20 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The three death penalty cases convicted of the Poso riot, Fabianus Tibo, Domingus Dasilva, and Marinus Riwu will propose clemency to the President for the third time.

Previously, Tibo via his legal advisor, proposed a delay in the execution to the Attorney General and the President.

The legal advisor of the three convicted, Alamsyah Hanafiah, said the request for the excecution delay was delivered on April 4.

”While the execution is being delayed, we will propose clemency to the President,” said Alamsyah yesterday in Jakarta. However, he could not yet be certain when this would take place.
