TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Three Skytruck planes are soon to arrive for the Indonesian Navy.
“In March or April next year, three out of 10 planes that have been ordered will arrive from Poland,” said Rear Admiral Yuwendi, Director General for Defense Planning at the Department of Defense, Rear Adm. after accompanying the Indonesian Defense Minister at a meeting with the Polish Ambassador to Indonesia Tomasz Lukaszuk in Jakarta on Monday (12/12).
The realization of the supply of these three planes is running according to plan.
“There is no problem,” stated Yuwendi.
Previously, the Indonesian Department of Defense planned to purchase 10 Skytruck planes from Poland.
Seven of these will be used as maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) while three as standard transportation planes.
During the meeting, according to Yuwendi, Lukaszuk reported that he would meet the new Polish finance minister to sign the loan agreement.
