Foreign Affairs Department Assists with Dr. Azahari’s Family Request

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Foreign Affairs Department said that it had facilitated the arrangement for Dr. Azahari’s family to see the body of Dr. Azahari.

“After we received the letter on Monday afternoon (14/11), we coordinated with the police. In the procedure, we can only help with such problems,” said Indonesian Foreign Affairs Department spokesman Yuri Thamrin to Tempo on Tuesday (15/11).

According to Thamrin, the confirmation on whether or not Dr. Azahari’s family could see Azahari’s body depends on the police. “This involves the investigation process,” Thamrin stated. (Raden Rachmadi-Tempo News Room)
