TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Indonesian Embassy spokesman in Jordan, Mashrifun Lajawa, said that the body of Perry Pattiselano, 55, will be
returned to Indonesia following coordinative efforts with the Indonesian Foreign Affairs Department in Jakarta.
“We are also organizing everything with the Grand Hyatt Hotel management. Basically, we are ready to send Mr. Pattiselano’s body at any time,” Lajawa said to TEMPO on Friday (11/11).
Coordination with the hotel needs to be completed because Pattiselano had just signed a contract as a musician in the hotel early this month. In the contract, he also received life insurance. Currently, the body of Pattiselano was still at the Al-Bakhir hospital, Amman, Jordan.
When the bomb went off, Lajawa said, Pattiselano and two other Indonesians, Pingki Safira and Haryanto Puspaningrat, were doing their stint. When they finished playing several numbers for hotel guests, who were mostly foreigners, the bomb exploded about five meters from Pattiselano. (Raden Rachmadi-Tempo News Room)
