Bombing Mastermind Dr. Azahari Assumed Dead After Police Attack in Batu

TEMPO Interactive, Batu, East Java:Bombing mastermind Dr. Azahari was assumed to have been killed during a police attack on a villa in Jalan Flamboyan, Malang.

In addition to Dr. Azahari, two other people staying the villa who were involved in an armed clash with the police were also killed.

Two explosions were heard in the location and are assumed to have caused the death of Dr. Azahari.

A member of the Police Mobile Brigade, Khoiruddin, from Bogor, was also wounded during the incident.

The police attack was carried out starting at 3 pm.
There was also some shooting and two big explosions that sounded like bomb explosions.

Several windows of houses in the area were also ruined.

When surrounded by the security personnel, some shooting could be heard sporadically.

The police have cordoned off the location within a 300-meter radius, allocated two ambulances and firemen.
