President Yudhoyono Requests Input from Public on Fuel Smuggling

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono requested input from society on various matters related to the crimes of fuel stockpiling, liquefying and smuggling. The input can be sent to: The President, PO Box or PO Box 9949.

Sardan Marbun, a member of the President’s special staff handling the President, PO Box, said this at the presidential office on Friday (23/09). The President also requested input on the embezzlement and the corruption of compensation funds. “This includes School Operational Support, health support and cash subsidies,” Marbun said.

In order that the report can be followed up, the public may call 021-351 8152 or fax at 021-351 8039.

PO Box 9949 received 13,045 letters to date. Out of this number, 6,023 letters support the administration of President SBY, with 177 letters on good governance.

On the negative side, Marbun received 415 complaints on public service, 334 grievances on legal support requests and 272 letters on corruption. (Dimas-Tempo News Room)
