Wednesday, 07 September, 2005 | 00:22 WIB
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:: The Indonesian finance department has held a meeting on Tuesday (06/09) with ambassadors of Paris Club countries.
The meeting was aimed at discussing a follow up to the debt moratorium agreement allocated for rehabilitation and reconstruction funds in Aceh.
“They are verifying the data,” said the finance department’s director-general on state treasury, Mulia Nasution, told reporters in Jakarta.
According to Nasution, several Paris Club member countries, like Japan, the USA, Belgium and Australia, have finished the verification process on the said data.
“We are just waiting for administrative matters from the draft agreement,” stated Nasution.
It is hoped that the entire process can be settled before the end of this year. (Agus Supriyanto-Tempo News Room)
