President Yudhoyono Expresses Condolences for London Bombing
Sunday, 10 July, 2005 | 14:15 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has expressed his condolences for the bomb explosions that took place in London, UK.
The bombs that exploded on Thursday (07/07) have claimed the lives of many people.

“I’m convinced that British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be able to fully settle this tragedy and the people committing this inhuman action will be arrested and properly punished,” said Yudhoyono in a written statement distributed on Friday (08/07).

According to Yudhoyono, this attack indicates how acts of terrorism can take place at any time, anywhere and against anyone.

“Everyone needs to be aware and increase international cooperation in order to prevent other such acts of terrorism from happening in the future,” he said.
