Two More Named as Terrorist Suspects

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Today, the police have once again named two more people suspected of being involved in terrorist crimes.

The two suspects, with the initials AS and AL, were arrested within the Jakarta Police’s working area.

AS and AL are among 17 people already arrested by the police.

Eleven of them were named as terrorist suspects on Tuesday (05/07) and have been detained by the police since then.

Four have been released as there was insufficient evidence of their involvement in terrorist crimes.
National Police headquarters (HQ) spokesperson Aryanto Budihardjo said that AS and AL are now being detained at the National Police headquarters.

“Two people, with the initials AS and AL, are now officially detained,” Budihardjo said.
