TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:According to National Police chief Gen. Da’i Bachtiar, the test result of one of three DNA traces found at the Kuningan bombing location matches that of the alleged suicide bombing suspect.
However, Bachtiar declined to reveal where this suspect came from.
“Within one to two days, we hope to receive the cross examination on the DNA test and make it public,” he told reporters after signing a memorandum of understanding with the Indonesian health minister on Wednesday (29/09) in Jakarta.
Bachtiar said that one suspect, Rois aka Iwan Darmawan, was assumed to have contributed an important role in this case.
“However, I can’t say for sure what his role was at the moment,” he stated.
According to Bachtiar, the Rois family has provided photos and information on Rois.
He cannot yet of explain where the bomb materials came from as many matters still have to be concluded regarding the police investigation into the bombing.
