Police Distribute Face Sketches of KPU Bomber

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Jakarta Police have distributed face sketches of a man allegedly involved in the KPU office bombing.
“However, we still need to cross check what we have found with several witnesses,” said Jakarta Police chief, Insp. Gen. Firman Gani on Wednesday (11/08) in Jakarta.
Jakarta Police chief of detectives, High Comm. Mathius Salempang, distributed the face sketches to witnesses and journalists.
The man was said to have short hair, a round face, medium eyes and eyebrows, with thick and wide lips.
The suspect was also identified of being of medium height, aged between 30-40 years old and having brown skin.
Several witnesses said that this man wore long, bright pants, a black shirt, and was in a hurry to leave the KPU office when the incident took place.
According to Gani, the witness saw the suspect bringing a plastic bag to the second floor of the KPU building and leaving the area in a hurry.
The suspect was also seen entering the toilet next to the KPU Plenary Meeting room.
As reported earlier, KPU members were counting the July 5 presidential election results ballot manually in the meeting room when the incident took place.
