Bombing Suspects Taken to Bali Police HQ

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Five out of the six suspects who were arrested in Sukoharjo, Central Java, on June 30 have been taken to the Bali Police headquarters on Wednesday (07/07).

The five suspects, with initial names of SK aka A, RP, KA, S and U, are allegedly involved in bombing cases in Indonesia.

“They are all alleged suspects of the Bali bombing in 2002,” Bali Police spokesman, Sr. Commr. Pangasihan Gaut told reporters on Wednesday (07/07).

Following their arrest, the six suspects were questioned by the police at the Central Java Police headquarters.

Following the case reconstruction held in Sukoharjo, the five suspects were taken to the Bali Police HQ.

The remaining suspect was taken to the National Police headquarters, Jakarta.

According to Gaut, one of these suspects allegedly financed the acts committed by the Bali bombing perpetrators.

“SK aka A allegedly financed the bombing acts committed by Imam Samudera, Dr. Azahari and other perpetrators. But, this is still only our assumption,” stated Gaut.
