Bail Out Committee to Bring in New Names

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Controversy surrounding Bank Century bail out has remained in public attention as another claim surfaced on Tuesday from a member of the parliamentary committee. Bambang Soesatyo of the Golkar Party came with the latest information that eleven persons which are not registered as customers of Bank Century received rescue fund from the government.

Bambang told reporters at the parliament's office prior to the committee meeting “We are investigating the 11 persons which are not registered in Bank Century nor Bank Indonesia, or listed in the Police Crime and Investigation Unit' data.”

He refused to disclose the names saying the committee will brought the names in a meeting with the State Audit Board tonight when the audit board will present its further report on the bail out scandal.
