Jasa Marga to Build Communication Network

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The state toll road operator PT Jasa Marga Tbk planned to install fiber optics on all of its toll road network. Speaking at the office of the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, Chief Director of Jasa Marga Frans Sunito said on Tuesday the company have installed the first fiber optics on Jakarta - Bandung toll road.

The company planned to continue the work by getting partners to handle the job. Frans refused to reveal the value of the investment and said Jasa Marga will pick its partner through bidding process.

Jasa Marga also planned to commercialize the excess capacity of its communication network.
