Industrial Fuel Oil and Pertamax Price Rise

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: PT Pertamina, since January 1, 2007 at 00.00 WIB (Indonesian Western Time), has increased the price of fuel oil for industry by between 0.5 and 4.9 percent. In addition, the prices of special fuel such as Pertamax, Pertamax Plus and Pertamax Dex also went up due to the rise of oil price in the world’s market.
Pertamina’s spokesperson Toharso, in his press statement said that the price of kerosene for industry rose 4.9 percent to Rp5,540 per liter, Premium 1.9 percent to Rp4,838 and diesel oil 0.5 percent to Rp4,886 compared to December 2006. “However, the automotive diesel oil price went down by 1.6 percent and fuel oil by 4.1 percent compared to the previous period,” he said.
While the Pertamax price for Jakarta, Banten and West Java areas went up from Rp4,800 to Rp5,200 per liter. the Pertamax Plus price increased from Rp5,200 to Rp5,350 while Pertamina Dex price from Rp 5,750 to Rp 5,900.
