Government Buys Back Debt Securities

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The government will buy back the State Debt Securities (SUN) by debt switching. The government will auction 21 series of fixed and various SUN which fall due on between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2011.

The debt switching is FR0040 series which will fall due on September 15, 2025 with an interest rate of 11 percent. “We invite SUN holders to come at between 10am and 1pm tomorrow,” said Head of the Public Relations Bureau at the Finance Department Samsuar Said in his press statement last weekend.

Currently, 25 bid participants have been registered, comprising eleven national private banks, three state banks, six foreign banks and five security companies.
