Mandiri to Finance Horticulture with RP11.3 Trillion

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: PT Bank Mandiri Tbk is prepared to finance horticulture projects and to develop its derivative industries, including bio-energy.

For the time being, loans that are being disbursed to the horticulture sector and its derivatives have reached Rp21.5 trillion.

The amount that has been allocated for large horticulture companies is Rp11.3 trillion; cooperatives and plasma plaster groups Rp3.09 trillion; as well as companies that processes horticulture products Rp7.14 trillion.

Abdul Rachman. Director of Corporate Banking at Bank Mandiri, said that the banks will disburse loans gradually in accordance with the needs for planting and plant-maintenance.
