More Air Asia Passengers Treated For Flu Symptoms

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: A further six people were admitted to Medan's Adam Malik for flu symptoms on Thursday (2/7) night, two days after five people were admitted to the hospital for swine flu scare.
A man, his wife, their three kids, and one relatives were admitted to the hospital as they seek medical treatment after “their body temperature rose to between 36.5 and 38.9 degrees celsius,” spokesman for the hospital dr Atmawijaya said on Friday.
The patients were part of the passengers arriving on an Air Asia flight from Kuala Lumpur on June 30.
The following day five passengers were admitted to Adam Malik Hospital as they suffered from flu symptoms.
Head of the Health Municipal Offices Edwin Effendi said the city adminitration is on alert, and to form a team to observe all the Air Asia passengers coming from Kuala Lumpur.
