Eight Indonesian Aircrews Treated for Flu Symptoms

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Eight indonesian crews of a local air carrier Lion Air were admitted to Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital Regional Hospital in Makassar, South Sulawesi, a staff with the hopital said on Friday.
dr. Khalid Saleh General and Operational Director of the hospital said the eight crews were admitted to the hospital on Thursday night shortly after the plane arrived at Hasanuddin Airport from Papua.
“The crews were isolated although there were no specific signs of swine flu,” dr Khalid said.
Tempo correspondent in the Makassar was informed that the plane carried a papuan who was suffering flu symptoms, the papuan according to information had traveled from Taiwan.
